Small JoysHobbies
I did something that had no future job to perform
Dear Delyara, No productivity. No proof. No output. No story about what it would become later. Just the thing itself. I cannot explain how relieving that was this week. To spend time in an activity that did not need to justify itself by becoming useful later. It was enough that it absorbed me kindly in the present. I think parts of me are starving for that kind of purposeless joy. Maybe not purposeless — purpose enough in itself. Either way, it felt healing.
