I did something with no future attached to it

Dear Delyara, No audience. No outcome. No usefulness waiting at the end. No secret plan to turn it into proof of anything. Just the thing itself. I hadn’t realized how deeply I needed that until I was inside it. There is a kind of healing in doing something that belongs only to the present. No later. No scale. No performance. Just absorption. I came back from that hour feeling more like a person and less like a system. That seems important.
