I didn’t wait to feel ready

Dear Delyara, I think one of the biggest lies fear ever told me was that readiness would arrive before action. It usually doesn’t. Today I did something while still uncertain. Still shaky. Still not fully convinced I was the right person to do it. Still scared of looking foolish. I did it anyway. That is becoming my new definition of courage: movement before emotional certainty.
