I Didn’t Wait Until I Felt Ready

Dear Delyara, I used to think readiness would arrive like permission. That one day I would wake up and feel brave enough, clear enough, worthy enough, emotionally prepared enough to begin. It never happened like that. So lately I’ve been starting things while still a little afraid. Applying while uncertain. Speaking while shaking. Moving before confidence catches up. That is changing me. I think courage may have less to do with feeling strong and more to do with refusing to let fear choose the timing of your whole life.
