I do not feel I have to perform steadiness to remain loved

Dear Delyara, That feels like such a gift. There are forms of love that make you more self-conscious, more managed, more aware of how well you are doing at being emotionally safe, beautiful, mature, easy, clear. What I feel now is different. I can be softer, messier, quieter, more mixed, and the connection still feels intact. That changes the body. It changes the breath. It changes the way truth leaves the mouth. I’m grateful for love that lowers performance instead of raising it.
