The UnknownUncertainty

I don’t know how to be calm while things are undefined

Dear Delyara, Maybe some people are built for uncertainty. I don’t feel like one of them. When things are undefined, my body behaves as if danger is active. I don’t rest properly. I imagine outcomes. I rehearse conversations. I scan for clues. I become emotionally busy in all the wrong ways, trying to gain control over things that are not ready to reveal themselves yet. I know uncertainty is part of life. That knowledge has never made my nervous system good at it. I am tired of living in “we’ll see.”
