The UnknownLoss of Path
I don’t know when I stopped feeling connected to my own direction
Dear Delyara, I don’t think I lost my sense of direction in one dramatic moment. I think it happened gradually, in practical decisions and ordinary continuation. One year became the next. One compromise became routine. One sensible choice became a life shape I now maintain almost automatically. And somewhere in that movement, I stopped feeling the path as something internally alive. That’s what scares me. Not failure. Not collapse. Just the possibility of building a whole life from adaptation while mistaking it for alignment. I am still moving. I’m just no longer sure toward what.
