The PlotLost Ambition
I don’t know whether I am tired of the dream or tired of carrying it without proof
Dear Delyara, That uncertainty has been sitting with me for months. Some goals look dimmer after enough years, but that does not necessarily mean they have died. Sometimes they have simply gone underfed — too little progress, too much waiting, too much carrying them in private without any visible reward or witness. The soul gets tired in those conditions. So when I look at certain dreams now and feel less heat, I cannot tell whether it is wisdom, grief, fatigue, or surrender in disguise. I wish the answer were clearer. It would make choosing much easier.
