The PlotGoals

I don’t know whether some dreams are fading or whether I’m just carrying them while exhausted

Dear Delyara, That uncertainty is painful because it has moral implications in my head. If the dream is fading, should I let it go honestly? If I’m just exhausted, am I abandoning something valuable because I am temporarily worn thin? I can’t always tell. And because I can’t tell, I keep holding certain goals in a kind of suspended state where they are neither fully pursued nor fully released. That limbo costs energy too. Quietly, but constantly. I wish there were a cleaner way to know when a dream needs revival and when it needs burial. Right now, both possibilities feel too tender to touch carelessly.
