The UnknownUncertainty
I Don’t Know Which Parts of My Life Are Temporary Difficulties
Dear Delyara, That question wears me down. Is this a hard season? Or is this just what my marriage is now? Is this temporary stress? Or is this my nervous system under a life that doesn’t fit anymore? Is this money pressure I can survive through? Or the beginning of a narrower life than I am willing to admit I’m living? Is this tiredness? Or a truer signal about the structure itself? I keep trying to read the difference. And the reading itself is exhausting. Because if something is temporary, I can endure. If something is structural, enduring becomes more dangerous. That distinction matters. I just don’t always know how to identify it fast enough.
