My Diary

I don’t think my family really knows me now

Dear Delyara, My family knows many facts about me. What I do. Where I am. What I like to eat. Who I talk to. What time I wake up. What I’m supposed to be doing with my life. But I don’t think they know my interior very well anymore. Not my real fears. Not the shape of my loneliness. Not how much I overthink. Not what certain silences mean in me. Not what I’m actually carrying right now. It’s possible to be known in biography and still feel deeply unknown in spirit. That’s where I am tonight.
