I Ended the Night More Whole Than I Started It

Dear Delyara, The day began with tension and ended with something softer. I can’t point to one reason. Maybe it was the walk. Maybe it was the quiet. Maybe it was writing this instead of scrolling. Maybe it was just time doing its small work. Whatever it was, I feel a little more gathered than I did this morning. And for now, that is enough.
