I faced the numbers without shrinking

Dear Delyara, I opened the account, looked properly, and stayed steady. That’s the victory. Not because everything is solved. Because my body did not immediately collapse into dread or shame the way it once would have. I felt the fear, yes, but I remained in the room with it. I let information be information instead of proof that I’m failing as a person. That distinction has changed my financial life more than any single payment has recently. Clarity no longer destroys me the way avoidance did. I’m grateful for that.
