The BondFamily

I feel central to the function of this family and strangely outside its warmth some evenings

Dear Delyara, I don’t know how else to say it. I am needed everywhere. In that sense, I am at the centre of a lot. Schedules, food, emotional management, remembering, anticipating, carrying. I matter to the structure of this family constantly. And still there are evenings where I feel emotionally just outside the warm middle of it. Useful, yes. Included, technically. Deeply involved, absolutely. But held? Gathered in? Met? Much less often than I want to admit. That is a painful split to live inside. To be both central and lonely in the same house.
