I feel guilty when I need more rest than other people

Dear Delyara, I know I shouldn’t compare, but I still do. I look at people who seem to manage work, family, social life, fitness, and everything else without looking as tired as I feel, and I immediately turn against myself. Why am I so affected? Why do I need so much quiet? Why does one difficult week sit in my body this long? I know the answer is not simple. People hide things. People are different. Histories matter. Stress lands differently. Still, guilt arrives quickly, as if my need for rest is some kind of poor character. What I actually need is recovery. What I often add to that is blame.
