I feel less edited in this kind of love

Dear Delyara, There’s so much relief in that. I don’t have to pre-soften everything, over-translate, emotionally perform, or become the easiest version of myself in order to stay close. I can be less arranged, less polished, more honestly human — and the connection stays. That changes the whole body. And the whole meaning of safety. I didn’t know love could do that. Now I do.
