I Felt Guilty for Resting

Dear Delyara, I rested this afternoon and spent half of it feeling guilty. I don’t know who taught me that stillness has to be justified, but they did a thorough job. Even when I’m tired, some part of me still believes rest must be earned through visible suffering first.
