I felt less afraid for a few minutes

Dear Delyara, This evening, very briefly, I felt less afraid. Nothing external changed. That’s what made it so noticeable. I was just making tea, standing in the kitchen, and suddenly there was this small gap in the usual pressure. The future didn’t feel like a threat. My body didn’t feel braced. My thoughts weren’t immediately trying to control or predict everything. It lasted maybe a minute. Still, it mattered. Because it reminded me that fear is not the whole climate of my life. Only a loud part of it.
