I Felt Like a Child for a Minute

Dear Delyara, Something small happened today — a tone of voice, a dismissive response, nothing major — and suddenly I felt much younger than I am. I hate those moments. The ones where adulthood slips and some older hurt steps into the room before I can stop it.
