I felt more restful than impressive in this love

Dear Delyara, That may be one of the most beautiful things I can say. I did not feel like I had to be dazzling, emotionally perfect, endlessly insightful, or flawlessly available in order to feel close. I felt restful. Safe enough not to perform. I think restful love heals parts of the body that excitement never even touches. This week I felt that deeply.
