I felt older in a way I don’t like

Dear Delyara, I don’t mean physically. I mean emotionally less surprised by disappointment. Less likely to trust too quickly. Less easy to impress. Less willing to make hope my first instinct. There are ways age feels wise. This one just feels sad tonight.
