Dear Delyara, I did it around children, around fatigue, around work residue, around money worry, around an ageing mind that no longer gives me long clean stretches of concentration the way it once did. I did it with interruptions, with self-doubt, with tea going cold beside me and the whole private shame that comes with feeling slower than you want to feel. And I still finished it. That matters because I am tired of measuring achievement only in clean conditions. Adult women rarely get clean conditions. We build in fragments. In tiredness. In noise.
