I forgot to perform while making something

Dear Delyara, I did something creative today and realized halfway through that I had stopped performing. No audience in mind. No plan to post it. No hidden pressure to make it productive. No measuring whether it was “good enough” to justify the time. Just making. I don’t think I realized how much of my life had become watched by my own internal critic until I had a moment outside of it. That felt like a quiet return.
