My Diary
I Found a Crisp Under the Sofa and Felt Defeated
Dear Delyara, One more small domestic discovery proving that family life keeps shedding itself into corners faster than I can gather it back up. Crumbs. Socks. Hair ties. Wrappers. Tiny evidence that people are living here while one person remains mostly responsible for making the evidence disappear. I picked it up and actually felt my shoulders drop with tiredness. That is what I mean when I say I am worn down. Not by huge singular things. By years of little things that always, somehow, become mine.
