My Diary
I found glitter in my bra
Dear Delyara, I wish I were joking. My daughter had been doing some school project at the table and apparently the glitter moved through the house with more authority than I do. Later, while changing, I found one bright speck where no craft material should ever realistically end up and just stood there laughing too hard for a woman already this tired. Then, just as quickly, I felt emotional again. Because that one stupid piece of glitter seemed to summarise everything — how nothing in this life stays contained, how everyone else’s day leaks into my body, how I keep cleaning up and still find traces later in increasingly absurd places. It was funny. It was also too accurate.
