The AwakeningSelf Love

I gave myself basic care before proving anything

Dear Delyara, This might be the most practical form of self-love I’ve found: I stopped making myself prove enough before I responded to simple needs. I ate when hungry. Sat down when tired. Took a break before resentment. Bought the thing that would make the evening softer. Turned the light down. Ignored what could wait. None of this looked dramatic from the outside. Inside, it felt like a real shift. I think self-love becomes useful only when it enters ordinary life. That is where I’m trying to build it now.
