I gave myself comfort before the breakdown version of the need arrived

Dear Delyara, That is a major shift for me. I answered the need before it became dramatic. Before tears. Before snapping. Before complete depletion. Before needing to explain to myself or anyone else why care was now suddenly justified. I think I am learning that kindness does not have to come late. It can come early. Quietly. Without spectacle. This week it did. And I want more of my life to look like that.
