My Diary
I had a good ten minutes and didn’t ruin them
Dear Delyara, That is the victory of tonight. I had ten good minutes and I didn’t start asking whether I deserved them, how long they would last, what might interrupt them, or whether I should use them more productively. I just had them. Tea. Silence. Dim light. A body not braced for a moment. I think peace becomes more available when I stop interrogating it immediately. That’s new for me.
