I had a moment where I wanted to leave everything untouched

Dear Delyara, There was a moment tonight where I didn’t want to answer, fix, wash, fold, decide, or improve anything. I looked around the room and felt a kind of refusal rise in me. Not dramatic. Just tired. Tired of being the hand that eventually touches everything so life doesn’t slide too far into inconvenience. I think some days I don’t want help with the task. I want relief from being the one who always notices the task. So I left a few things undone tonight. The world will survive. I hope I learn to believe that faster.
