GratitudeInner Peace
I had one evening where my mind did not run ahead to prepare for tomorrow’s pain before tomorrow even arrived
Dear Delyara, No lists. No replaying. No budget. No pre-emptive emotional rehearsing. No tiny private catastrophes dressed up as being organised. No “what if” moving furniture around in the next day before the current one had even ended. Just stillness. I think that is what peace means to me now. Not brightness. Not perfection. Not some impossible spiritual state. Just the temporary absence of mental forward-leaning. An evening where I am only where I am. That may sound small. To me, it feels like wealth.
