GratitudeInner Peace
I had one evening with no future in it
Dear Delyara, No lists. No mental planning. No tomorrow-loading. No “must remember.” No rehearsing of difficult conversations or practical problems before they had even happened. Just one evening. Tea, warm light, quiet, socks, a chair, and no inner pressure to be already leaning into the next day. That felt rare enough to name because I’m realising how often the future steals the present from me before the present has even had its turn. Tonight it didn’t. And that felt like peace.
