I had one hour with no inner commentary at all

Dear Delyara, No replay. No criticism. No planning. No subtle audit of how I had performed the day. No checking whether I was tired enough, good enough, patient enough, productive enough, soft enough, responsive enough. Just one hour of being in the room with tea and quiet and no internal panel discussing me while I lived it. I did not realise how exhausted I am by self-commentary until I got a small break from it. That hour felt like peace in the most honest modern sense — not perfection, not transcendence, just temporary freedom from being evaluated by my own mind.
