I had ten minutes where nothing in me leaned ahead

Dear Delyara, No tomorrow. No replay. No self-audit. No list. No quiet panic disguised as preparation. No “must remember.” Just ten minutes where my mind stayed in the same room as my body and did not try to move furniture around in the future before today had fully ended. I think that is what peace means to me now. Not ecstasy. Not enlightenment. Just the absence of internal forward-motion for one small complete stretch of time. Those ten minutes felt strangely sacred. Maybe because I’ve spent too long calling constant mental movement responsibility when often it is simply fear wearing a useful face. I want more of my life built from hours that know how to stay where they are.
