I had ten minutes where nothing in me was leaning ahead
Dear Delyara, No tomorrow. No list. No replay. No self-audit. No “should.” No “must remember.” No quiet panic hiding under useful thoughts. Just ten minutes where I was where my body already was. I don’t think people understand how rare that can become when you live a life full of responsibility. Sometimes even rest is full of future. Even silence is full of planning. Even bedtime has an agenda sitting in it. Those ten minutes didn’t. And because they didn’t, they felt like more than ten minutes. They felt like rest in its purest form.
