I Had Twenty Minutes Where Tomorrow Did Not Lean Into Me At All
Dear Delyara, That is rare enough now that I noticed it immediately. No lists. No calendar. No budget calculations. No replaying work. No trying to emotionally pre-live possible discomfort in order to protect myself from it. No subtle panic dressed as being organised. Just a body in a chair. A mind staying in the same room. And twenty whole minutes where the future did not reach in first. That felt richer than many larger things have lately. Because peace, for me now, is not a grand glowing experience. It is the temporary absence of internal urgency. It is the moment the mind stops moving the furniture of tomorrow around in the dark before tonight has even properly ended. That happened. I want much more of my life built like that.
