I have become practiced at speaking around the center

Dear Delyara, That skill frightens me a little. Not because it is dramatic. Because it is smooth. I can tell a version of things that sounds whole while leaving out the center. I can move around the truth so naturally that the room feels intact and no one knows what was never actually said. That level of fluency makes secrecy harder to confront because it no longer even looks like struggle from the outside. But it is still struggle. And still separation. I am tired of how much internal architecture gets built around one unspeakable room.
