The SilenceSecrets
I have built too much personality around what cannot be said
Dear Delyara, That thought has been haunting me lately. Not just that I keep a truth hidden. That hiding it has shaped so many other things — the versions of stories I tell, the routes my answers take, the parts of me that step forward in certain rooms and the parts that never do. Over time, the secrecy becomes more than silence. It becomes design. And that design is exhausting. I don’t always know what I would sound like without it now. That feels sadder than the original secret some days.
