The SilenceHate

I have had ugly thoughts when I felt powerless, and I don’t know what to do with that truth

Dear Delyara, Not constant hate. Not identity-level hate. But flashes. Small, hot, ugly flashes toward people who hurt me, belittled me, exhausted me, or made me feel trapped in situations where I had to remain composed while something inside me wanted to reject them completely. I think powerless anger can become very dark before it becomes language. I don’t like admitting that. But I want these letters to stay human, and human includes thoughts we would rather not frame beautifully.
