I Heated a Wheat Bag for My Shoulders

Dear Delyara, That is probably because my body was telling the truth long before my thoughts were willing to. The heat sat across my shoulders and for the first time all evening I felt something soften in a way that was not symbolic, not intellectual, not something I had to earn through a good attitude or enough insight. Just warmth reaching tension directly. I nearly cried. Because sometimes what I need is not more understanding. It is heat. Softness. Weight. One moment where care arrives through the body first and the mind is allowed to follow behind for once. The wheat bag cooled eventually. The feeling stayed longer. And I’m grateful for that.
