The PlotFear of Failure

I Hide in Delay

Dear Delyara, Delay is where fear sounds respectable. I am thinking. Preparing. Waiting for the right time. Gathering more information. Needing more clarity. Letting things settle. Sometimes that is true. Often it is fear buying itself more time. Because as long as I am delaying, I am not yet exposed. Not yet visible. Not yet answerable to reality. Still a person with possibility rather than a person who tried, risked, asked, wanted, and may have to stand there if it doesn’t go the way I hoped. I know this about myself now. It has not fully stopped me from doing it. That is what makes it painful.
