The PlotFear of Failure
I hide inside “almost ready” more than I want to admit
Dear Delyara, Almost ready is such a seductive place. It feels responsible. Refined. Mature. Safe. It is also where many things quietly die. I know this because I have spent too much time there — preparing, refining, timing, delaying, protecting myself from exposure under the noble language of readiness. Fear in me does not always look like panic. Often it looks like elegance. That makes it harder to challenge. And more dangerous.
