The PlotFear of Failure

I keep making the first step more sophisticated than it needs to be

Dear Delyara, Research, outline, notes, better timing, improved structure, stronger wording, more confidence first, maybe next week, maybe after the holidays, maybe when I can do it properly. I hear myself and I know what it is. Not dedication. Not excellence. Delay made respectable. I think I’m especially vulnerable to this because I genuinely do care about doing things well. That makes fear harder to expose. It can hide inside quality control. It can sound like wisdom, patience, discernment. But some of it is still just fear asking for one more layer before I let myself be visible.
