The UnknownUncertainty
I keep turning waiting into emotional labor
Dear Delyara, That is what not-knowing becomes in me. Not openness. Work. Predicting, rehearsing, bracing, preparing, trying to emotionally solve tomorrow before tomorrow exists. I know uncertainty is part of life, but my body still acts as if uncertainty is an unfinished emergency that should not be allowed to sit quietly. I am tired of how much energy that consumes. And how invisible that cost is.
