The UnknownUncertainty
I keep wanting answers before I’ve even fully asked the real question
Dear Delyara, That is how restless uncertainty makes me. Instead of sitting with not knowing long enough to understand what the actual problem is, I jump ahead to needing solutions. How do I fix it? How do I prepare? What happens next? What if this means that? What if I’ve missed something? The mind runs so quickly toward resolution that it never gives confusion the honest time it might need to become clear. And then I’m exhausted not only by uncertainty, but by all the premature work I did around it. I wish I knew how to let a question remain a question for longer. Right now it still feels like failure if I don’t immediately turn it into action.
