I know how to continue when desire has already gone quiet

Dear Delyara, That is a strength. And a sadness. I can continue even after the desire thins. I can keep structure going after the fire has lowered. That helps me survive, but it also makes it harder to know when I’m no longer living from a true internal yes. Some days I look at my life and wonder how much of it is still powered by wanting and how much is powered by habit, responsibility, and the inability to stop cleanly once I’ve built a system. I miss brighter wanting. I miss cleaner hunger.
