I know how to maintain momentum after desire has gone quiet

Dear Delyara, There is something admirable about being able to continue. To keep the structure moving, to remain disciplined, to carry work and life and plans even when the internal weather is no longer bright. But there is also something dangerous in that skill, because it can let me stay inside dimness much longer than I should. I think that’s where I am now with some parts of life — trying to work out whether I’m being strong, or simply very well-trained at continuing after the fire has gone lower than it should. That question is haunting me more lately. And I think it deserves to.
