I know what I want, but I don’t know how to get there from here
Dear Delyara, That is the most frustrating part. If I had no dreams, maybe I would feel calmer. But I do. I know I want a different life. I want more freedom, more meaningful work, more income, more room in my days, more ownership of what I build, more of myself back. I know all that. The problem is not desire. The problem is the bridge. I am standing in the middle of bills, exhaustion, age, self-doubt, family duty, limited energy, and too many years of surviving by being practical. From inside this life, the future I want feels both visible and impossible. I can point to it. I just cannot seem to walk there cleanly from here. So I stay half-planning. Half-hoping. Half-researching. Half-ashamed. That limbo is its own kind of suffering. Because it keeps ambition alive enough to hurt and too trapped to become movement.
