The PlotGoals
I know what kind of life I want, and I am ashamed that I am still not building it
Dear Delyara, That shame sits close to the surface now. It’s not that I have no vision. I do. More freedom. More integrity. More money. More life that feels like mine. Less survival. Less emotional narrowing. I can see it clearly enough to ache for it. What I can’t seem to do is move toward it cleanly from here. There is too much current life already using the energy the next life would require. Work, home, children, money, tiredness, emotional recovery. By the time the day loosens its grip, the part of me that wants to build something better is often too depleted to do more than think about it. That gap between vision and execution humiliates me. Not because I’m lazy. Because I know exactly how much I want what I’m still not making.
