My Diary
I laughed and meant it
Dear Delyara, I laughed today and it surprised me because it was real. Not polite. Not social. Not the kind of laugh I use to keep conversations moving. A real one. It only lasted a few seconds, but I noticed it because genuine ease has felt rarer lately than I want to admit. I think when you’ve been emotionally stretched for long enough, even one honest burst of laughter can feel like proof that not everything has gone grey inside you. I needed that proof today.
