I let an unfinished thing stay unfinished and still had a gentle evening

Dear Delyara, That sentence feels like peace to me now. There is something unresolved in my life tonight. And still, the evening became gentle. I didn’t fix the problem. Didn’t get the answer. Didn’t force closure. I just let the unresolved thing remain in the background while I made tea, answered nothing urgent, turned the lights down, and let my body soften around what I could not yet solve. That’s a new kind of peace for me. The kind that does not require finality first.
